You must admit that it is truly amazing that cables from an envoy/ambassador to the White House are suddenly 'leaked' to the press. Gosh, we had no idea that a former general would disagree with the current commander on the ground.

Much as would like to give Obama the benefit of the doubt, the man is a demagogue. He says the 'extremes' are a national health system or demolishing the employer based insurance system.

Ah, the classic political triangulation theory, none of which has anything to do with 'torture'. What we have here is a open threat to prosecute members of the previous administration, using as point man the same genius who advised Clinton to pardon Marc Richt.

Always glad to see POTUS visit a NPS site on a week-end. I wonder how close security let the common folk get to POTUS and 'his entourage'. Hope the common folk actually got in to the park at all since there was probably a several hour 'bubble' involved.
